Lesson Plan EDP 4 / Math 23

I. Objectives:
At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to: 1. Identify and understand the basics of a C++ program. 2. Recognize the different data types. 3. Analyze and organize a C++ program.
II.Subject Matter: “The Basics of a C++ Program” Reference:
(C++ Language – C++ Tutorial) Acquired last December 21, 2013 Materials: IQ Board, Computer, White Board and White Board Marker.
III. Procedure: a. I will prepare the IQ board and computer for the discussion as well as the white board for some examples and illustrations. b. I will explain to the students regarding the basics of a C++ program, the different data types and other elements of C++ programming. c. I will cite and elaborate more examples regarding C++ program. d. I will give exercises for them to practice. e. I will ask the students if they have questions. f. I will answer their questions.
IV. Evaluation:
I will ask them if they’d understand by raising their hands.
I will give them an activity after wards.
V. Assignment: Create a simple program about making a change when you buy in the store. The output to be displayed is the change.
